Who We Are

dbridge is a web-based database management tool that lets developers connect and manage their databases from any browser. When you use dbridge you are trusting us with access to your database connections and account information. We take that seriously.

What Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up we collect your email address, full name, and password. If you sign up with Google we collect the information those services provide.

Database connection information

When you connect a database we store your connection URL or credentials in encrypted form. We store this to reconnect to your database when you return. We never read, log, or inspect your actual database data, only the connection credentials needed to establish the connection.

Usage information

We collect information about how you use dbridge such as which features you use, how often you log in, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve the product.

Payment information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payments are processed by Paddle. We never see or store your credit card details. We store your Paddle customer ID and subscription status to manage your plan.

Technical information

We collect your IP address, browser type, and device information for security purposes such as detecting suspicious login activity.

What Information We Do Not Collect

We do not read, store, cache, or log your actual database data, the rows, records, and content inside your databases. When you browse a table or run a query, the data flows directly between your browser and your database through our servers but is never stored by us.

How We Use Your Information

To provide the service

We use your account information to authenticate you and your connection credentials to connect to your databases.

To send important emails

We send account-related emails such as invite notifications, billing receipts, and security alerts. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

To improve dbridge

We use anonymized usage data to understand which features are used most and where we can improve.

To process payments

We share necessary information with Paddle to process your subscription payments.

How We Store and Protect Your Information

All database connection URLs and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. We use Supabase for our database infrastructure, which maintains its own security standards.

We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we delete your personal information and all saved database connections within 30 days. Some information may be retained longer if required by law.

Third Parties We Share Data With

  • Supabase: our database and authentication infrastructure provider.
  • Paddle: our payment processor.
  • Resend: our email delivery provider.

We do not share your information with any other third parties. We do not sell your data.
